Tin-Tin

Tin-Tin has a sad story. I almost didn’t want to post this, but it is important that the world knows the horrors of declawing.

Those of you who don’t know, declawing is when owners have their cat’s (or cats’) claws taken out. Imagining having your finger- and toenails surgically removed. That’s more or less how a declawed cat feels.

Thankfully, Tin-Tin’s back claws remained intact. See, Tin-Tin’s previous owners had him declawed and then threw him out of the house. Since he didn’t have his front claws, he couldn’t hunt for himself, and started to starve in the wild. One of my friends, Mitra, found him in her backyard. She took him in and nursed him back to health. Despite her allergy to cats, she still couldn’t bear to let him go, so she and her family adopted him. He now lives happily with his new owner, [Name Unavailable], our fellow cat lover. 😀
